Democracy = Hypocrisy...

So, wait a second, lemme get this straight.... I'm supposed to have it better when Labour's in power right? The peoples party.... right?
No, you say? David Cameron is down... he's younger than Gordon Brown, and the conservatives are for the people now. Oh, I see. But wait the Liberal Democrats... *ahem* sorry, (Lib Dem's sounds cooler) have got the "young vote" on lock! The young and the urban can relate to them right, they'll stand up for me. Lets bring it all together now:

Candidate A: Fat, Balding, Middle Age, White, Middle-Upper Class, No Neck, Parents probably rich, Never drawn a chick in his life, Probably scared of black kids, Looks slightly like Shrek and Frankenstein, Hates Africans. Cool, sounds promising... lets move on.

Gordon Brown
Gordon Brown = Shrek & Lurch (the similarity is uncanny)

Candidate B: Not so fat, still balding, younger middle age, Upper Class, White, Parents probably rich, DEFINATELY never drawn a chick in his life, DEFINATELY scared of black kids, Looks like a straight gimp, probably thinks all Africans hunt with spears, probably never shared a room with ethnic minorities other than when campaigning. Good Look!

David Cameron David Casual
David Cameron - The peoples candidate... Casual as you like.... LOOK he's wearing a sweater and talking to an ethnic! It's like looking in a mirror!

Candidate C: Dont know much about him, but his party never provides meaningful competition. Probably white, probably male, probably middle age and middle to upper class. Probably scared of us ethnics.... blah blah, yadda yadda.. Got my VOTE!

Nick Clegg Nick Ethnic
Nick Clegg Slumming it with the inner-city ethnics... how genuine!

And there in summation, is what you call "democracy". A choice between candidates who probably drink at the same pub and attended the same private schools, and hold the same values, but somehow, being able to choose between candidate A, B and C is supposed to be a privilege worth fighting for.... did you vote in the last election.... hmmm, I wonder why?

Lets use Iraq or Iran as examples. I'm supposed to be unhappy about the fact that the leaders in those nations rule without vote, but in my nation, I get a choice between David Cameclown, Nick Browneron and Gordon Clownegg, obviously the result of a cloning/IVF experiment that resulted in the spawning of 3 identically bullshit candidates for my vote... "ooooh, those poor muslims and there evil dictators, they dont have the privilege of 'THE VOTE' like I do, they don't have my freedom of speech and human rights..."

.... are you freaking kidding me.

When it comes to choice, how much of a say do I actually have? Did you ask mine, or my neighbours opinion when it came to them dropping a congestion charge on my frigging doorstep. Oh, leaving your house, that'll be a tenner!
Did you ask my opinion when you pointed CCTV camera's at my doorstep, along the street, in the shopping centers and any other place of human activity?
Did you ask my opinion when you put 75p-80p per litre on the price of petrol? Or gave councils the freedom to fine drivers for breathing on a yellow line?
Did you ask my opinion when you decided that this nation was going to use it's military power to drop bombs on innocent muslim men, women and children?
Did you ask my opinion when you put my neighbour in Guantanamo without charge for just reading my blog... what's the charge, 'circulating threatening material'?
Did you ask my opinion decided to start shooting Brazilians on the underground, and did you listen to me when I said the TERRORIST police officers who shot him should be tried and prosecuted?

No, no, no, no, no, no and no.

Innocent held at gunpoint
Menezes
CCTV
Iraq war
Exhibit A: Innocent young black boy gets held at gunpoint by Police. By the way, you're 7 times more likely for that to happen if your black, but interestingly, no more likely to be a criminal. Read more... Jean Charels De Meneses shot dead, but the police were deemed to just be 'doing their job' when a brief enquiry was launched. London has over 1/2 million CCTV cameras, most capable of advanced face recognition. Do they help solve crimes? Read... Iraq death toll is WAY over 1 million (that's over 500 9/11 disasters)... but now, at least they can vote! Problem is, they'll probably die on the way....

Funnily enough, no matter who gets into power, these fundamental abuses of power and the lack of our ability to change them will continue, business as usual....

...so back to democracy, how much influence does this precious privilege of democracy give me? The fact that Britain's voter turnout is down to about 60% means that half the nation, like me, couldn't give a crap about the pointless smokescreen privilege. What's this system really all about? Is it about giving people in their nations decision making power, or is it just a way to maintain status quo and have a convenient excuse to drop a nuke on the developing world whenever some rich white corporation needs an excuse to exploit and invade for resources/cheap labour? I mean, just look at the recent media/political hate campaigns launched against the 'developing' world in the last decade, lets analyse:

TARGET 1: Saddam 'Weapons of Mass Destruction' Hussein

Saddam
Saddam, the enemy of democracy, or the realest mofo on the planet?

Justification for invasion: WMD's and the establishement of Democracy
REAL reason for invasion: Blaq Gold (Oil), Strategic positioning in the Middle East AND they just didn't like the cocky bastard.

TARGET 2: Robert 'Hitler' Mugabe

Mugabe
Mugabe, enemy of democracy, or just don't like the result of his election? Oh, and he's African, never a good start....

Justification for sudden interest in Zimbabwe: The protecting of the democratic process
REAL reason for interest: That breh' gave thousands of their rich MP cousin's the boot for stealing all the land, and he's African!

TARGET 3: (The new kid on the block) Mahmoud 'the big talk' Ahmadinejad

Ahmadinejad

Ahmadinejad, the new target to the Western 'Democratic' crusades, better get his hands on some nukes QUICK!
Justification for proposed invasion: The establishement of democracy in Iran
REAL reason for proposed invasion: Making so much dough from rebuilding Iraq, that another Oil rich Middle Eastern nation was always on the cards.

And that's leaving out Afghanistan!
Whatever the reasons are, one things for certain, if the choice for me is between Saddam and Brown/Cameron/Clegg, that's a choice I'd have to seriously sleep on. Either way, Democracy = Hypocrisy... If its a dictatorship, call it what it is. There aint no difference to me (deliberate double negative) if the leader of this nation is 1 bald fat white middle age upper class guy, or a choice between 150 bald fat white middle age upper class guys, either way I'm screwed.

Oh, and in case you forgot, here's what our 'family' of leaders look like, I feel SOOOOOO represented... Gee, I wonder what the response in parliment would be if some urbanised MP proposed a bill to teach African History alongside European History... or better yet launch an investigation into why black kids get such long custodial sentences....hmmm.

parliment
Anyone care for a game of spot the ethnic? I've circled what appeared to be a black/asian face, but could quite possibly be a piece of misplaced mahogany or an MP in bad lighting. How many can you find, answers to the forum!

(Tyf) Daimo out.... Blaq Gold
